The Year of the Three Kings first day cover was issued on 31 August 2006 on the 70th anniversay of the year 1936.

1936 was an amazing year for British Royalty. King George V died on 20th January and was succeeded by his son, known as Edward VIII. He abdicated on 10th December in favour of his brother, who became George VI. So in just one year, there were 3 kings on the throne of Great Britain.

The cover is available signed by one of Britain's leading actors, Ian Richardson, star of To Play the King, House of Cards and many others.

A limited number are also being signed by the Queen Elizabeths cousin Prince Michael of Kent.
