On May 6th 1910, the 80th anniversary of the Penny Black, keen stamp collector, King George V succeeded Edward VII.
A good sailor and horseman, George was most known for his stamp collecting, establishing the Royal Collection as we know it today himself. He was to rule for 26 years until 1936 - the year of the 3 Kings.
